Uniting Young Leaders for Collective Change

The Children Parliament Federation serves as a dynamic platform where children's voices resonate on a larger scale. Federations unite local children parliaments, empowering young leaders to collaborate across regions, countries, and continents to address issues that matter to them. Through this structure, children are given opportunities to practice leadership, participate in governance, and shape the future they envision.

The levels of children parliament

NEIGHBOURHOOD
The foundation of the federation begins in neighborhood parliaments, where children come together to address issues directly affecting their immediate communities. These parliaments instill early leadership skills, foster collaboration among peers, and encourage local problem-solving. From tackling issues like sanitation, education, or safety, the neighborhood level empowers children to improve their surroundings.
VILLAGE/CITY LEVEL
At the village or town level, multiple neighborhood parliaments unite to form a stronger voice. This federation addresses broader community issues that affect a larger population. Children take on leadership roles by engaging with local authorities, presenting solutions, and advocating for their rights and the well-being of their peers across the village or town.
DISTRICT LEVEL
District federations are formed when parliaments from various villages or towns come together. Here, children deal with district-wide challenges, engaging with district administrators and government bodies. Whether addressing healthcare, education access, or infrastructure, district-level parliaments represent the collective voice of children across multiple communities and gain the attention of higher authorities.
STATE LEVEL
State federations unite district-level parliaments to advocate for issues affecting children across an entire state. This level provides children with a platform to engage with state governments, influence state policies, and ensure children's rights and needs are incorporated into state development plans. They represent a significant step towards broader governance participation.
NATIONAL LEVEL
At the national level, federations from across the country come together to form the National Children Parliament Federation. These young leaders engage with national policymakers, ministries, and governmental organizations to address issues like national education reforms, healthcare policies, and child protection laws. The national federation ensures that children's perspectives are considered in the formation of policies that affect them directly.
GLOBAL LEVEL
The Global Federation brings together national federations from around the world, creating a global platform for children to unite and address issues of international importance. Children leaders from diverse backgrounds and cultures collaborate to discuss global challenges like climate change, human rights, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. Through international dialogues and forums, such as United Nations conferences, the Global Federation gives children the chance to influence world leaders and contribute to shaping the future of the planet
