Sociocracy introduction

Children Parliament and Sociocracy

Children Parliament is a pioneering organization that empowers young leaders by incorporating the principles of Sociocracy. With approximately 150,000 teams globally, this initiative focuses on fostering democratic values among children through neighborhood-based governance.

Sociocracy promotes inclusive decision-making, where every voice is heard and valued. In Children Parliament, children participate in structured meetings, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to contribute to discussions and decisions that affect their communities. This approach not only cultivates leadership skills but also encourages collaboration and respect among peers.

By practicing Sociocracy, Children Parliament helps young individuals understand the importance of shared responsibility and collective action. As they engage in meaningful discussions and community projects, children learn to navigate challenges, celebrate diversity, and work towards a common goal—building a brighter future for themselves and their neighborhoods.
